Description
Begonia Cascade Florence graces your garden containers with its enchanting pink-edged double flowers, sporting shades of soft rosy-pink and white. These begonias bring a breath of fresh air to your outdoor space as their abundant double blooms gently spill over the edges, providing months of vibrant color. The harmonious blend of colors creates a mesmerizing display, and the occasional appearance of single flowers only adds to its charm. These generous blossoms beautifully contrast with the dark green serrated leaves. Begonia Cascade Florence thrives in areas that receive full sun, although it gracefully tolerates partial shade
The best time to plant the tubers is in early spring, after the last frost. Plant the tubers 2.5-5 cm deep and 20-30 cm apart in a well-drained soil. Water the plants regularly, especially during the first few weeks after planting. Begonia Cascade Florence plants are heavy feeders, so fertilize them every 2-4 weeks with a balanced fertilizer. To encourage cascading growth, pinch back the tips of the stems when the plants are young. With proper care, Begonia Cascade Florence plants will bloom all summer long.
This Begonia Cascade Florence was introduced in 2009.
